A traditional style 'Casa Alentejana', built in 1869 and tastefully refurbished in 2009 with views over the Rio Sado available for short term holiday let in Alcacer do Sal in the Alentejo region of Portugal.

 

The apartments have been sympathetically renovated, tastefully decorated and are completely equipped to ensure you have everything you need for a relaxing holiday in Portugal. The apartments are located within the centre of Alcacer do Sal and are easy to access, with parking spaces. The apartments make a great base to explore the town and region with excellent roads leading to Comporta, Troia, Setubal, Evora and Lisbon.

 

Top Floor Apartment

The top floor apartment measures 66 square metres and has two bedrooms, a living room, dining room, kitchen and shower room. Each of the bedrooms have been equipped with double beds and bed linen is provided.

The living and the dining rooms are tastefully decorated and satellite television available. Cutlery all necessary dishes and plates are available. The kitchen is fully equipped with hot plate, coffee maker, toaster, kettles, microwave, dishwasher, fridge freezer. A laundry machine and tumble dryer, iron and ironing board are also available.

The shower room has a shower, toilet, bidet and vanity basin. The apartment is a very sunny and has a fabulous view to the Sado river.

 

First Floor Apartment

The first floor apartment measure 20 square metres and has one room with a sofa bed for two people. There is an independent kitchen, shower room and a separate toilet. The kitchen is fully equipped with hot plate, coffee maker, toaster, kettles, microwave, dishwasher and fridge freezer. A laundry machine and tumble dryer, iron and ironing board are also available. Satellite TV, cutlery, dishes and plates, bed linen, towels, paper etc are available. The apartment is very sunny and has two balconies facing a pedestrian street.

 

Coast/Beach
The nearest beach is located at Comporta and is about 20 kilometres from Alcacer do Sal.

 

Travel
The nearest airports are two, one in Lisbon and the other in Faro. Although public transportation (buses and train) is available, the use of car is more suitable to visit the nearby beaches and places like Comporta, Troia, Setubal, Evora, Beja and Lisbon.

Distance to:- Carrasqueira 15 kilometres; Comporta 20 kilometres; Torrao 19 Kilometres; Santa Suzana 22 kilometres; Setubal 50 kilometres; Evora kilometres; Lisbon 90 kilometres.

 

Further details
As the apartments are located in the centre of the town shops, restaurants, banks, cash machines and pharmacies are 50 metres distance. Supermarkets and hospital are 1.5 kilometres.

Museums and other interesting places to visit are also nearby.
Leatherwork such as saddlery in general, with saddles and harnesses, handbags and other goods, complement skilfully worked artefacts of carved wood. Embroidery and lace are items that can be found in Alcacer do Sal.

Changeover day
The preferred changeover day is Saturday, although we are flexible to discuss alternative changeover day. Arrival time is after 4pm and departure time before 12 o'clock.
